Lenore Leitch was born in Hamilton, Ontario and grew up in neighbouring Ancaster. In 1995 she moved to
Bermuda where she lived until late 2004. Lenore currently resides on central Vancouver Island with her cats, Harley
& Davidson. She attended McMaster University in Hamilton, honing her photographic, writing, and graphics skills
while working for the university newspaper. Lenore's dedication to her craft, and digital photography in particular,
has resulted in a number of international awards and publishing credits. She is a member of the
Professional Photographers of Canada
(PPOC) and the
Professional Photographers Association of British Columbia
(PPABC).
Solo exhibitions of Lenore’s fine art photography include the Bermuda Masterworks' Foundation "Artists Up-Front Street"
series (May 2002) and the Edinburgh Gallery, Hamilton City Hall (Bermuda, June 2002), as well as numerous group exhibitions at the
Bermuda Society of Arts' Onion Gallery and the Bermuda Arts Center at Dockyard. Three pieces from her series "Forgotten Dreams
of Castles Lost" were selected for the Bacardi Biennial 2002 group exhibition, May 3 to September 7, 2002 at the Bermuda National
Gallery.
Lenore's photographs hang in private and corporate collections in Bermuda, the United States, Mexico, Puerto Rico, the Cayman Islands,
Canada, Australia, Britain, France, and Thailand. You can see more of Lenore's work in the February/March 2005 issue of
